Housing sales across Turkey increased 8% in September compared to the same month last year

Housing prices in Ankara increased 24% over the past year, the average sales price per square meter of housing is 2,630 TL, the average housing price is 330 thousand 330 TL. In Izmir, the annual value increase was 32%, the average housing square meter sales price was 4,000 637 TL, and the average housing price was 553 thousand 875 TL.

Aydın, Muğla and Balıkesir

Aydın, Muğla and Balıkesir, respectively, were the provinces with the highest annual value increase in 30 provinces with the highest housing sales in September. Housing prices in Aydın increased 59% over the past year, the average sales price per square meter of housing is 5 thousand 156 TL, average housing price 666 thousand 366 TL. Mortgage housing sales increased by 9% compared to the previous month in September to 29,759

Mortgage housing sales in September in Turkey increased 9% compared to the previous month and 16% compared to the same month last year, up 29,759. The share of mortgage sales in total housing sales amounted to 20%. Second-hand housing sales increased by 4% compared to the previous month and 8% compared to the same month last year, amounted to 103 thousand 176. During this period, the sale of mortgage housing was 181 thousand 855 with a 64% reduction, second-hand housing sales were 661 thousand 982 with a 17% reduction, and sales of housing to foreigners increased by 43% to 37 thousand 479. During this period, loan housing sales accounted for 19% of total sales, 70% of second-hand housing sales and 4% for foreign sales.
