Beykoz in Istanbul, Rod in Ankara, Menderes in Izmir were the districts that gained the most value
According to current data from Indexa.com, house prices across Turkey increased by 2% in August, and the last year's value growth stood at 22%. In the 3 major cities with the most residential sales, there was a 15 percent increase in Istanbul, 17 percent in Ankara and 18 percent in Izmir. In the last year, Beykoz in Istanbul, Rod in Ankara and Menderes in Izmir were the districts that gained the most value.

15 percent in Istanbul, 17 percent in Ankara

In December 2019, record levels of residential sales took place, and the real estate sector started 2020 fast. However, with the effects of the Covid-19 outbreak seen in Turkey, housing sales units fell, especially in April and May. With attractive housing loans, the sector quickly recovered and in July a historic residential sales record was broken. In August, both heavy demand met in June and July, as well as changes in credit conditions, housing sales slowed, but sales were still above 54% last year. As of the end of August, there were 1 million 24,534 residential sales across Turkey, 43% higher than in the same period last year.

Beykoz was the highest value winner in Istanbul

The district of Istanbul that gained the most value in the last year was Beykoz with 46.53 percent. Beykoz was followed by Basaksehir with 42.31 percent and Hunters with 31.50 percent.
