23,265 houses sold in Istanbul

Istanbul took the first place in the number of residential sales with 23,265 residential sales and 16% share. Istanbul was followed by Ankara with 14,906 residential sales and 10% share, 8,830 residential sales and 6% share in Izmir. According to the Endeksa data, the average residential square meter sales price in Istanbul as of the end of September is TL 3,503, the average return period is 22 years, the last 1-year value change minus 12%; The average sale price per square meter of housing in Ankara is TL 1,764, the average return time is 17 years, the last 1-year value change minus 4%; The average housing square meter sales price in Izmir was TL 2,864, the average return period was 20 years and the last 1-year value change was 0.3%.

Number of mortgage dwelling sale 57,393

Looking at the sale of mortgagedwellings throughout Turkey, 57,811 mortgage dwellings were sold in September. Mortgage dwelling sales accounted for 39% of total sales, up 69% from the previous month and 410% higher than the same month a year earlier. In first-hand sales, 51,393 houses were sold in September.
