The largest increase in summer areas in Datca, Alanya and Fethiye
With the beginning of the covid-19 outbreak, the effects of the outbreak in Turkey began to appear, and the demand for secondary housing in the form of summer and highland houses increased. According to the index's analysis, the cost of housing rent demanded across the country is 6 percent after the epidemic effect began to be seen; rent costs of detached houses 18 percent; rental fees demanded in summer areas increased by between 5 percent and 15 percent.
According to Endeksa.com data, transactions that meet the increasing price are not taking place. While the price increase is happening, the demand for summer and highland homes is not as high as it was when the effects of the outbreak began to first be seen. According to the Index, the measures to be taken in tourist facilities in the summer period also stand out as an important factor that increases the demand for rental cottages and rent.
The largest increase in rents in Datca, Alanya, Fethiye and Ayvalik
General Manager of the Index Görkem Öğüt, datca, Alanya, Fethiye, Ayvalik, Marmaris, Alacati and Kusadasi in the last 1 year, the regions where the most increase in housing rents, stating, "Datca 35 percent of the last 1 year housing rents, 31 percent in Alanya, 26 percent in Fethiye, 24 percent in Ayvalik, Marmaris, Alacati and Kusadasi has increased by 21 percent. The regions with the highest rental costs are Alacati, Göcek, Bodrum, Marmaris and Bozcaada, respectively. The average rent in Alacati is 2.740 TL, 2.714 TL in Göcek, 2.451 TL in Bodrum, 2.225 TL in Marmaris and 2.077 TL in Bozcaada," he said.
39 percent in Kemer, 38 percent in Datca, 37 percent in Alanya
Adding that rent increases in detached houses in summer areas are generally higher than all housing increases, Öğüt said that in the last year, detached houses have increased by 39 percent in Kemer, 38 percent in Datca, 37 percent in Alanya, 24 percent in Ayvalik and 16 percent in Bodrum.
