In December, 226,503 housing was sold throughout Turkey. With this figure, housing sales increased 27% compared to the previous month and 114% compared to the same month last year. Sales of second-hand housing in December increased by 22% compared to the previous month, 117% compared to the same month last year to 149 thousand 756 units, and mortgage housing sales 209% compared to the same period of the previous year increased to 45 thousand 260.

Aydın, Antalya and Balıkesir
According to the Endeksa data, Aydın, Antalya and Balıkesir were the highest annual value growth in Turkey. Annual value increase in residential sales prices in Aydınd is 81%, average residential square meter sale price 7 thousand 465 TL, average housing price 821 thousand 607 TL, return time of housing investment 31 years. Annual value increase in prices of housing sales in Antalya is 78%, average residential square meter sale price 6 thousand TL 850, average housing price 639 thousand TL, return time of housing investment 19 years. The annual value increase in the prices of housing sales in Balıkesir is 77%, the average residential square meter sale price is 5 thousand 792 TL, the average housing price is 552 thousand 240 TL, the return time of housing investment is 26 years.
Total 1 million 491 thousand 856 housing sold in 2021
In the total of 2021, 1 million 491 thousand 856 housing sales took place. Sale of second-hand housing amounted to 1 million 30 thousand 333 units and loan housing sales amounted to 294 thousand 530. In 2021, the number of housing sales decreased 0.5% compared to last year, sales of second-hand housing increased 0.1%, The number of loan housing sales decreased by 49%. In 2021, the share of second-hand housing sales was 69% and the share of loan housing sales was 20%.
Sales to foreign amounted to 58 thousand 576 units
In 2021, the number of sales to foreign nationals amounted to a total of 58 thousand 576 units. Sales of housing to foreigners increased 44% compared to last year. The nationals receiving the most housing from Turkey were Iran, Iraq, the Russian Federation, Afghanistan and Germany.
